this picture might simply just be of some plants and a patterned background but notice how this photo draws you in and makes your eyes wander around and take in the nice asymmetrical and radial patterns that the plant has. The type of balance this shows is radial since the leaves have their own unique way of growing. photo taken by Tehani Szadkowski

the principle this shows is contrast since the way that the sun is shining shows light and darkness, the light being the green of the bench while the darkness is the shadow casted on the ground. it also has texture since the bench is smooth and the cement is very cracked and rough looking. photo taken by Tehani Szadkowski

This is showing emphasis since the thing that i wanted to stand out the most was the center of the hibiscus since its color is very bright and it pops out from the rest of the flower and the green and brown of the leaves and dirt. The hibiscus really draws you in from the colors to the texture of it and how you start from the center and work your way out a bit. photo taken by Tehani Szadkowski

what this shows is an empty school walkway, this picture basically shows what it looks like for all the students to be in class whether it be on time or a few minutes late. Even though no one is walking you can still see the movement in this from the direction and patterns of the walkway. photo taken by Tehani Szadkowski

The shade in O building has always been very appealing to people because of its unique patterns and how the light shines onto it to create shapes that are casted onto the ground so this is a perfect photo to demonstrate pattern. photo taken by Tehani Szadkowski

this photo has repetition in it to show a type of rhythm, this is the two empty rows made for water in the vending machine, even though it might show a slight glare you can clearly see the inside and how the spiraling repeats over and over down the rows. photo taken by Tehani Szadkowski
unity
this picture gives a sense if unity since the elements work and bkend together very well from how the lighting gives a bit of contrast while your focal point is either on that one flower or that small circle from where the sun hits which then makes your eyes go through the rest of the photo. photo by tehani szadkowski
